The Holosun ARO-CORE (Advanced Rifle Optic Core) is a compact 1× red-dot sight designed primarily for AR-style rifles and carbines. It’s essentially an updated evolution of Holosun’s 403/503 series.

Key features:
22 mm viewing window — slightly larger than the older 403/503-style optics.
2 MOA dot on the standard model, or MRS versions with a 2 MOA dot + 65 MOA circle.
Shake Awake motion activation.
50,000-hour claimed battery life from a CR2032.
10 daylight + 2 night-vision brightness settings.
IP67 water/dust resistance and aluminum housing.
0.5 MOA adjustment clicks.
T1/T2 footprint.
Includes both a 1.63″ lower-1/3 mount and 1.05″ low mount.
Big advantage: It’s a fairly complete package for the money—you get the optic and useful mounts without needing to immediately buy a separate riser. It’s also designed to work well with Holosun’s magnifiers.
One limitation: The ARO-CORE doesn’t have solar backup; it’s battery powered.

Bottom line: If you want a simple, durable, budget-friendly red dot for an AR/PCC, the ARO-CORE looks like a strong value. The MRS version is worth considering if you want the flexibility of switching between a dot, circle, or circle-dot reticle.
